Easter Egg Competition, it's Egg-tastic!

It's Easter Egg time in the office this week.

Originally the plan was to just paint a few eggs to show our creative flare. However the more competative amongst us decided it would be more fun turning it into a competition and a prize: "otherwise what's the point, there is no fun if not" said by one of my colleages.

So unbeknown to most of us, the person who asked for it be a competition had already been preparing props for their eggs over night and had done alot of research into what design they were going to recreate. So the bar was raised and everyone else basically 'poohed themselves' becasue we hadn't been taking it that seriously or put much thought into it.

We all took it in shifts to decorate our eggs and was only given half an hour. As you can see by the results, there is alot of creative flare in the building, from some surprising sources.

We asked an external adjudicator (Pete from Phoenix Ice Hockey) to judge our eggs: "it was a tough decision, i was accepting bribes but no-one offered me anything, they were obviously confident in their abilities"

The winners were: 3rd place - Helen Ford from media with her bumble bee, 2nd place - Helen Ridgeway from media with her Kiss members and 1st place - Alice Marshall from project management with her amazing bunny rabbit.

As you can see by the photos the standard was very high all around, and everyone deserves a pat on the back for their efforts.

So until next year... have an egg-citing Easter from us all at Comtec Presentations.
